Better Purpose visit Babyzone Hammersmith & Fulham

This week we welcomed Julie Bélanger (Director and Head of Early Years) and Alice Cornish (Co-founder) from Better Purpose to Babyzone Hammersmith & Fulham.

Better Purpose is an education-focused consultancy and research team that supports organisations working to improve education outcomes, including through strategy, operational support and the design and delivery of education initiatives. Their early years report, What works (and how) to impact early childhood outcomes, is a targeted review of evidence across the Common Outcomes Framework, commissioned by a steering group of early childhood development funders and informed by desk research and stakeholder interviews.

You can read the Better Purpose report here.

Reflecting on the visit, Julie said: “It was such a pleasure seeing Babyzone in practice and how it fits right in the diverse community of EdCity; what a great example of a programme that embodies so many of the elements highlighted in our recent review of the evidence of what works to improve early childhood outcomes.”

Last year we published a short response to Better Purpose’s evidence review, mapping the findings to Babyzone in practice.
