I have been a volunteer at Babyzone for 6 months. 

As an advanced trainee psychotherapist my volunteer work at Babyzone has given me a fantastic opportunity to get to know, and provide to, a wonderfully diverse group of local mums and dads. 

I have met so many remarkable parents - from all walks of life - who do such a great job of navigating the ups and downs of parenting.  It's a truly humbling experience and I am privileged to experience my relationships at Babyzone strengthen and flourish.

I have been volunteering at Babyzone since October 2024. 

I love Disney and spending time with my family and dog. 

I really like coming to Babyzone to help and look forward to it every week.  I help with putting out coat donations, help to distribute the baby bank bundles and help to keep the book areas tidy.

I have been a volunteer at Babyzone for 2 years. 

I like acting and being in shows with my friends.  I really like all the people here, especially the staff and I like meeting the parents too. 

I help Home-Start set up for their session and then help open the doors for families who are leaving Babyzone downstairs. 

I look forward to coming every week. 

My day volunteering is always very varied, there is always something different to do. I really enjoy talking and helping the families that come to Babyzone for some respite and to see how much they love to see their children interacting with all the activities that are going on and the other children.

I love the way young children just want to learn and discover new things to do, this is why I think Babyzone is such a good place for them to go as part of their early learning. I would recommend volunteering as I come away feeling I have helped in some way.

I have been volunteering at Babyzone for just over a year now. 

I enjoy meeting new people, so working with all the families is perfect for me. 

I have never worked with children before so this was a new challenge for me but I love supporting local families every week.  I help with welcoming families, overseeing the free-play spaces, supporting the class leaders with their delivery and just generally being an extra pair of hands if a family needs support. 

I am retired but keep very busy.  I do aqua aerobics and enjoy walking.   

I love to work with children and get more experience. I love to develop children and learn from them.

I have been a volunteer at Babyzone for 18 months. 

I enjoy spending time with my familiy and going on days out. 

I love working with Jess and the Babyzone team.  I help on the door, letting families out and reminding them to come back next week!  I also help to pack away at the end of the day.  

For my full-time job I work as a Finance Business Partner.

I have a 19 year old daughter and I am hoping to adopt an infant so I am currently volunteering at Babyzone to get recent childcare experience.

I will be on hand to answer any questions, ensure that the play areas are safe and hope that you enjoy your time here. 

Steph is the wonderful cleaner at Legacy Youth Zone who makes sure that Babyzone is spotless before everyone arrives.

She loved seeing the families enjoy the space so much that she decided to volunteer with Babyzone during the session. Steph is such a wonderful asset to our team!
