Babyzone Grimsby opens at Horizon Youth Zone

Babyzone Grimsby is now open, and we marked the launch on 27 February with a brilliant day of families, partners and local leaders coming together to celebrate a new space of support and connection for families with under-5s.

From the moment doors opened, the hub was full of warmth and energy. Families explored the space, joined classes, and connected with local services and community organisations who will be part of the Babyzone offer in Grimsby.

A new one-stop shop for families

Babyzone brings together high-quality early years learning, play, and practical support in one welcoming place. In Grimsby, families can access a mix of evidence-informed classes, a safe space to meet other parents and carers, and opportunities to connect with trusted local partners.

Open every Friday during term time

Babyzone Grimsby is based at Horizon Youth Zone and is open every Friday during term time, from 9.30am to 2.30pm.

Families are welcome to drop in, take part in activities, and find support that fits real life.

Visitors and partners

We were proud to welcome a brilliant mix of visitors, partners and local leaders for the opening, including MP Melanie Onn, the Mayor, and Thomas Turgoose.

Families were also able to meet and connect with local partners on the day, including colleagues from the NHS and the local council’s Family Hubs team, alongside other community organisations who will continue to be part of the Babyzone Grimsby offer.
