We were delighted to host over 30 partner organisations at Blackburn Youth Zone on 26th February for a special breakfast meeting ahead of Babyzone’s upcoming launch. Representatives from Public Health Blackburn, Home-Start, Perinatal Mental Health, Family Hubs, and Little Kickers joined discussions on how Babyzone can best support local families.
A Shared Commitment to Supporting Families
Presentations from both Babyzone and Blackburn Youth Zone reinforced the Borough’s dedication to ensuring every family has access to the support they need. Conversations focused on perinatal mental health, community engagement, and breaking down language barriers, with attendees sharing valuable insights on how to make services more accessible and welcoming for all.
With Blackburn’s diverse and vibrant community in mind, partners highlighted the importance of building trust with families to ensure that parents feel confident accessing the resources available to them. The discussions reflected a shared optimism about the positive impact Babyzone can have, bringing together organisations, caregivers, and local services to create a safe, inclusive space for young children to thrive.
Looking Ahead
We are delighted to be working with such wonderful partners in Blackburn to bring this vision to life. With strong community collaboration, Babyzone will provide a welcoming and supportive environment for parents and young children, helping to strengthen families and build brighter futures.
