Babyzone Chorley was officially opened on 22 September 2026 by The Rt Hon Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons and MP for Chorley, who cut the ribbon at Inspire Youth Zone.
The hub first opened its doors to families in June. The official launch marked how far it has come since then.
## 297 people on opening day
On the day, 297 people came through the doors. We welcomed 127 families.
Lauren Hargreaves, Head of Babyzone Chorley, and her team gave everything to make the day happen. They built on the incredible reception the hub received at its soft launch in June.
## What the hub means for Chorley
Sir Lindsay spoke about what Babyzone Chorley means for local families. Watch the video below to hear what he had to say.
