Our Story
Here at Babyzone, we firmly believe that every family deserves to have an extraordinary space where they are given the opportunity to grow together.
The founding team at Babyzone recognised the need in the UK for families with children aged 0-6 years to have a place to play, sing, dance, read and learn together.
Babyzone is proudly based on the OnSide Youth Zone model. Over the years we have opened new Babyzone locations and now operate in Barking & Dagenham, Croydon and Barnet.
We are open weekly from 9:30am - 2:30pm and are free for anyone to attend.
2019
Since 2019, we have been on a mission to increase access to early-years learning opportunities. In partnership with OnSide, we piloted our first Babyzone in Barking & Dagenham.
2020
After seeing great success with the launch of Babyzone Barking & Dagenham, we raised the funds to open our second Babyzone in Croydon.
2021/2022
Families across the UK and world faced the reality of COVID and we had to close our doors.
In March 2022, we became a registered charity and were back open for families. By this stage we welcomed 300 families (over 500 children) a day across our sites.
2023
In January 2023, we launched our third Babyzone site in Barnet. Welcoming 600 family visits a week across our locations.
2024 - Where we are now
In March 2024, we will be opening Babyzone Warrington. This is our first Babyzone out of London and we can’t wait to be apart of the Warrington community.
In May 2024 Babyzone Hammersmith & Fulham will be opened. Our fourth Babyzone location in London!
